Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween!!!

My favorite holiday!!!  Snow usually isn't part of the season but if it adds a few extra days to dress up and eat candy I'll take it.  Our town postponed Halloween for a few days to clear all the snow so we headed down to Nan & Pops for some trick or treating.

Mr. Man and Nan had a great time :)

Apple Picking

It was a great apple season... 

We took multiple trips to the farm up the road and enjoyed walking the orchard with friends. 
Mr. Man is now a pro at picking (and tasting) apples. 

I can't get enough of the beautiful fall weather and Mr. Man loves his freedom and the fresh air!

Pumpkin Picking

Back to the farm this weekend! 
This time for a hayride and pumpkin picking.

Mr. Man was on a mission (as always)...

Firsts Cont'd

After 17 months I left Mr. Man for my first night week away. 

There were A LOT of tears.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great long weekend visiting with good friends. 

And... coincidentally we continued with the Labor Day apple theme!

Beach Weekend

We had a fantastic time visiting with some of our most special friends in Ocean City, MD this past weekend.

 Mr. Man loved the water.

 And playing in the sand.

We even managed to sneak in some pool time...

We also had a great dinner at a restaurant with a beautiful view (if you ignore the multiple trips outside to entertain a sixteen month old...) followed by a nice evening walk on the beach.



Mr. Man ate his weight in sand, kept on laughing and had a great time.

I think Mr. Man's "sand angels" may be my favorite memory!!!  Two steps on the sand and he falls face down every time, squiggling around, loving every minute.  What a great reminder to enjoy all the small things - like the sand between your toes. 

It's a bird... It's a plane...

It's Mama!!!  I just love how excited he gets when he sees me. 

Oh...  and NOW he runs to me!!!  It melts my heart.
